The Friends of Oglethorpe County Library have a monthly satelite Book Sale on the first Saturday of the month at No. 3 Railroad Street. Items include books, CDs, DVDs, vinyl albums and handcrafted goods. Gifts start at 50 cents. Hardcover books just a dollar. Several patrons are treating it as a rental, including myself.
Feel free to stop in at any Public Event at No. 3 Railroad Street (and there are lots of them!) to check out the offerings, take them and stuff the collection jar with your donations.
There is also a Take One/Leave One free-standing book exchange on the Yancy Road side of the venue. Please use it!
