is now offering a course called:
"MOUNTAIN DULCIMER for BEGINNERS"
No. 3 Railroad Street Community Center, Arnoldsville, GA
Six (6) lessons that will give you the knowledge and confidence to play your instrument any time.
A great instrument for the “purely for fun” musician who does not want to struggle with the technical aspects of music. Learn tuning, positioning, picking, strumming, chording, melody and methods. At the end of the class, you will be surprised to find that you can be a participating musician.
Your instructor is Robert Hauth who has recently moved to Arnoldsville. He has been giving private lessons on the mountain dulcimer for approximately 20 years. He has taught this course for 3 years at Pima Community College in Tucson, AZ and has recently taught for 2 years at the Anderson, SC Senior Center.
Course Information
1. It will be necessary for each student to come to class with their own instrument and music stand (if available)
2. The course will be on a Saturday morning from 10 AM to 11-11:30 AM
3. The dates will be 3/7, 3/14, 3/21, 3/28, 4/4, and 4/11
4. The cost is a total of $ 40.00, which is made up of $5.00 per lesson, plus $10.00 for course material
