DAVID LOCOCO IN CONCERT
SATURDAY, MAY 6, 2017

David LoCoco is a native of New Orleans, Louisiana and has resided in Athens since 2001. He served in the US Coast Guard for over 20 years and is now retired. David's father began teaching him piano and guitar when he was 5 years old and prepared him to audition on Ted Mack's Amateur Hour. David learned to play Beatle songs by ear as his father performed New Orleans piano bars playing and singing jazz standards going back to the 30's. David was the neighborhood rock and roll star and all the kids would flock around his carport to watch him and the other musically-inclined kids play their covers of the British Invasion.

Humble beginnings... but things haven't changed. David is still a humble man, only older, wiser, and with more musical experience. His musical tastes are more matured. David still loves to play his diverse brand of sonics for an audience who is ready for anything. From smooth crooning to emotional folk music, from blistering hard rock to ambient soundscapes... David can do it all!
