Release Party for "Working Folks" Mark Williams 6 pm Sunday, June 26, 2022

Mark Williams is a singer/songwriter living in Arnoldsville. In the mid-80s, while a student at the University of Georgia, he played drums in the band The La-Di-Das with Athens legends Vic Chesnutt and Todd McBride. He later fronted his own band, Tarwater Radio, in Atlanta in the early 2000s. He has recently recorded an album at Maxwell Studios in Athens with a number of noted local musicians. The album, titled "Working Folks," features nine songs written by Mark. It is available on bandcamp. Tonight will be the release party of the album. His family has some history with No. 3 Railroad Street, as it used to be a general store owned and operated by his wife Susan's grandparents.
