Six decades in, it’s clear that guitarist and songwriter Tommy Talton is still making music for the sheer joy of it. He manages to perform with both the energy of a music-obsessed kid and the restraint of a seasoned veteran – because, at heart, he is both.

This was our first concert by a widely-known artist and we, the audience, and Tommy were all very pleased with the event. There were about 60 donating guests and several of these had come hundreds of miles to hear Tommy.
Pulled pork, two soups, baked potatoes and other dishes were available for a donation. And everyone had a chair and a piece of a table to enjoy the food and the concert.
