ST. VALENTINE'S DAY SWING TRIO
FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 14, 2020

To bring something different to No. 3 Railroad Street for this St. Valentine's Day event, we present a Swing Trio especially organized for the evening.

The artists include Paul Prenovitz, who plays clarinet and other instruments with the Dixieland 5. Dan Horowitz plays double bass with Klezmer Local 42. James Cook does vocals with the Artie Ball Swing Band. All of them have extensive work in other bands, sometimes together.

Written of the The Artie Ball Swing Band, but we promise it will be true for this trio on St. Valentine's Day: "[It] is a "mini-big-band" playing blues, boogie, dixieland, and jazz with all the appropriate camp and candor of the 30's and 40's. Drawing heavily on the American Songbook and highlighting "swing street", even their original material has that classic feel of a time when good music was popular and popular music was good. Guaranteed to make the kiddies jump, the parents smile and the old folks reminisce of times gone by, The Artie Ball Swing Band provides a dancing good time for all."

Please come early for the Potluck. We will have something sweet for you, so plan your dish accordingly!

In Concert at No. 3 Railroad Street: Friday, February 14, 2020 Valentine's Day!
