The Vintage People are honoring a 15 year-old tradition of playing live, local music over Thanksgiving Weekend. For their friends in Oglethorpe County and the surrounding areas, they will be at No. 3 Railroad Street in Arnoldsville on Saturday, November 30, from 6 pm to 8 pm. Described by others as playing folk rock, they rather describe themselves as playing some songs they have written, and others they love, all representing lives that have spanned 6 plus decades and influenced by everything from the 60's through today. Brother and Sister, John and Linda Helmly, along with Ken Parris, of The Redstone Ramblers fame, have played and sang together for the past 15 years. Matt Linden joined on keyboards several years back and Raja Braunschweiger joined on conga's and rhythm around five years ago. The Vintage People in Concert, Saturday, November 30, 2024 at 6 pm.
