JACK WILLIAMS IN CONCERT
EASTER SUNDAY, APRIL 1, 2018

Description
UGA music school graduate, Jack Williams, is in his 59th year as a professional touring artist, a singer, songwriter, guitarist, and storyteller. His songs have a clear sense of place, many of them grounded in - or inspired by - deep southern roots. His performances are highly energetic and entertaining, lacking the introversion which characterizes the performance of many singer-songwriters. His current music is strongly influenced by an early career in jazz, classical, folk, rock and roll, blues, and R&B. He has 11 CDs and a DVD on Wind River Records. People in this region might recall the bands he played in during the 1960s: "Judge & the Jury", "The Nomads", and "Leaves of Grass".

Acoustic Guitar Magazine featured one of his songs in its March 2017 issue, along with a video of a 3-song performance in the magazine's on-line "Sessions" edition. This can be seen Here.

Mary has been trying to get Jack Williams out to No. 3 Railroad Street since she first heard him over 2 years ago. He's an incredibility talented music writer and musician, but that has to compete with his story telling! Based now in Arkansas, getting him to Arnoldsville has been a challenge.

FINALLY, HE CAN WORK US INTO HIS TOUR!

It will be on Easter Sunday. Mary wants him to share his music with us, but she does not want him to show up to an empty house. Please make plans to attend this wonderful event!
