Adam Klein
Adam Klein is an Atlanta-via-Athens, Georgia-based singer/songwriter and troubadour. His music touches on Americana, rustic country folk, folk-rock, and West African Mande music. For his performance at No. 3 Railroad Street, Klein will be joined by longtime collaborator and local favorite Adam Poulin on fiddle.

Klein's music has garnered praise from the periodicals American Songwriter, The Bluegrass Situation, Flagpole, Georgia Music, No Depression, Paste, Sing Out!, and Stomp & Stammer, as well as on numerous Americana blogs worldwide. He has performed throughout the U.S., and toured in the UK, Ireland, and The Netherlands. Klein has also shared the stage with a diverse range of acts including Josh Ritter, Kevin Kinney, James McMurtry, Okkervil River, and with Abigail Washburn and the Sparrow Quartet with the likes of Bela Fleck, Shawn Mullins, Jim Lauderdale, Robert Ellis, Steep Canyon Rangers, Shovels & Rope, and more.

Klein's records have featured a who's-who of talented musicians from Athens and beyond, including producer, engineer, drummer, and vocalist Bronson Tew, David Blackmon (Widespread Panic, Jerry Reed), Randall Bramblett, Jay Gonzalez (Drive-By Truckers) Lera Lynn, pedal steel maestro John Neff, Carlton Owens (Cracker), and Adam Poulin.

"With Low Flyin' Planes, [Klein] offers a reminder of why he should be considered one of Georgia's best folk-rock singer-songwriters" - Jeff Clark in Stomp & Stammer

Adam Klein is Still the Real Deal: "Klein arrived years - and albums - ago. This is just his latest manifestation. Even so, the Springsteen-isms of "Look Out (Doraville)" supply a full medicinal dose of rock and roll healing power. Similarly, the title track kicks back on the tradition of semi-sunny melancholy, and winds up being prettier and sadder and more thoughtful than anything in recent memory. Basically, the whole album is a packed set of gifted compositions and truly impressive arrangements."- Gordon Lamb in Flagpole

"With his warm, intimate singing voice and melodic tunes, Adam Klein's Low Flyin' Planes is another beautiful album. Songs that immediately sound familiar and that often have a catchy and sing-along chorus, something that fans of other noble singer-songwriters such as Paul Simon, Neil Young and especially Jackson Browne will love ... This is another serious candidate for our year's list of top albums in 2019." - Rootstime.be
