"The Lickskillets were formed in 2022 when lead vocalist, Wynn Walter, convinced her good friends to join her and help spread traditional murder ballads to the masses. These old and hauntingly beautiful songs are windows into the dark history of America. The original tales of true crime set to bluegrass and folk rhythms.
The Lickskillets have been described as southern gothic, murderfolk, and dark folk.
