John Miley, from john-miley.com
Some time ago, guitarist/composer John Miley coined the term "Breathlanes" and has since found it useful in defining and guiding an outlook toward creating an atmospheric, organic quality in modal improvisation. To the outside world, "Breathlanes" first appeared as the title of a 1992 release of a collection of solo electric guitar improvisations. In time, it became the name of a distinct band of musicians, and later, the name of a musical collective of shifting personnel. Each represents a different aspect of a common approach that, over time, has become more and more recognizable.

Breathlanes as an ensemble is based in Athens, Georgia. Group members maintain touring and performing schedules with other outfits, and come together for several events and appearances during the year. John also plays with Dan Roth, Cosmic Charlie, Jefferson Shuttlecraft and others.

Zach Wright describes himself at zackwright.com as a composer, sound designer, and post sound mixer with over a decade of professional experience.

He has scored films for Netflix, Hulu, ESPN, Vice, The New Yorker, and his work has been screened at Sundance, SXSW, AFI Docs, True/False, Full Frame, Sheffield Doc/Fest, and many more. Past work includes projects for Google, Amazon, Facebook, Nest, Microsoft, Nike, NPR, Fox Sports, Logitech, MSNBC, GoPro, and Cartoon Network.

He is also a Grammy voting member of The Recording Academy.

Two of the players this afternoon, Ken Parris and Mike Flynn, are with The Redstone Ramblers. They are a Country Delta Blues band from Jefferson. They perform originals and classic covers and Southern stories from Georgia's back roads. They played at least nine times at No. 3 Railroad Street with Mark Wilmot in the lead. The other remaining member is Todd Harvey.

The following is a link to a video of The Redstone Ramblers at the first event at No. 3 Railroad Street in Fester Hagood's Mojo Confessional Songwriters Showcase [Series], on May 8, 2022, filmed and edited by Gregory Frederick: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZvT_1w4EB7s. Woody Garrison sat in with The Redstone Ramblers on July 10, 2022, July 23, 2022, and June 17, 2023.

This will really be an outstanding event!
